Origin of OM / AUM in Sumeria, a Tamil Civilization

 In this video, the origin of the globally known Hindu symbol 'AUM' or simply 'OM' is traced to Sumeria.

Up till now the origin of AUM is traced to the Upanishad and other Vedic or Sanskrit texts.

For the first time, Sivakumar quotes a Sumerian text, Temple Hymn 31 where the the word 'OM' is mentioned. This text is more ancient than the Upanishad or any other Vedic / Sanskrit texts. He provides the meaning of the line which contains the word 'OM' which is clearly Tamil and can be understood even by ordinary people who knows elementary Tamil.

The discovery linking Sumerian as archaic Tamil is half a century of research work of Ullaganar and Sathasivam. This research finding stands on rock solid foundation where every aspect of Sumerian can be related to present day Tamil.

I quote below the line where the word AUM or OM.

5(400) Sumerian : [umbin]-se-ba amar su-ti-a Deciphered meaning by western Sumeriologist : ( Who snatches the calf with (his) [cla]ws ). Tamil : ஓம்பி-இன் இசைப அமர் சோதிய Romanised Tamil : Ombi-in isaiba amar sootiya

Meaning by Ullaganar: ( Who recits this mantra sound Om (Ombi-in-isai), lights up(sutiya) deathlessness (amar) Or : Those who recite the sound Om, (activates deathless Light in the body) and becomes radiant (amar su-ti-a).

From the above, we see that the meaning given by western Sumeriologist is inaccurate as they are do not know Tamil. Ullaganar who is a Tamil scholar as well as a Sumeriologist could see that the Sumerian writing is just plain Tamil. The recognizability of this sentence as Tamil is possible even with basic Tamil language proficiency as these words are still in use in Tamil.

This video should further strengthen our research finding that Sumerian is Tamil. It appears that SumeroTamils not only discovered the Logos Om but also the sadhana of Om-recitation for gaining the deepest metaphysical illuminations.

Our research also shows that Sumerians were from Kumari Nadu and due to the rising sea level, they migrated from Kumari Nadu to Sumeria.

And the myth that AUM or OM is Vedic and Sanskrit should come to an end and the Tamils should be acknowledged as the discoverers of this most important Hindu symbol!

Take note that by we claiming that Sumerian is Tamil doesn't mean that we support Aryan migration.

Is Murugan / Subramaniar worship Tamil or Aryan/Vedic and evidences of Murugan worship in Sumerian.

Sivakumar begins this video by posing the question on weather Lord Murugan / Subramaniar or any other name denoting Murugan is Tamil or Aryan/Vedic? This question is raging in the Tamil community and a source of confusion and there are a lot of so-called Tamil and Saivite scholars who add to this confusion, including politicians. Sivakumar explains that the origin of Lord Murugan worship can be seen in Sumeria which is a Tamil civilization, based on Professor Sathasivam and Ullaganar's research. Sivakumar shows evidences on the existence of Murugan worship in Sumeria which has not been widely published yet. Sivakumar says that Lord Murugan is not a Siddha or a human personality such as 'muppatan' as claimed by certain political leaders and he elaborates the danger of equating Lord Murugan to a human personality. He says that there are great forces at work in bringing down and de-grading Lord Murugan as Lord Murugan is the BACKBONE of the Tamil people and their religion. He says these are all the work of enemies of Tamil with their hidden agenda. Sivakumar concludes by saying that the Tamils should resist attempts to confuse and split the Tamils by forces claiming Murugan is not Tamil. It must be mentioned that Sumerians were not natives there. There are references that they migrated from Kumari Nadu.
